Awards and Honors

On Campus & Nationally

The Louisiana Chi chapter of SAE plays a vital role in student leadership at Nicholls State University. During the 2021-22  school year, brothers Zachary Pitre and Grant Pellegrin represented SAE on the Nicholls Homecoming Court. Brother Tyler Albritton was named a top 3 finalist for Mr. Nicholls representing in the Athletics division. We are continuously the most represented student organization on the Nicholls Orientation team. Louisiana Chi also has the highest GPA average of all the fraternities on campus.

Throughout our chapter's history, we have been nominated for the John O. Mosely Zeal Award nine times. We received the award in 2008 and again in 2014, recognizing Louisiana Chi as the top chapter in the nation. Our chapter has won the IFC cup the last past five years. 

2014 True Gentleman of the Year

Anthony Naquin is a Pre-Med graduate and served as Louisiana Chi's president during the 2014-2015 school year. Anthony was named 2014 True Gentleman of the Year at the John O. Moseley Leadership School.

 10 members of our chapter attended the 81st John O. Moseley Leadership School August 1-5. At leadership school, the chapter received the following awards: Financial Management Award, Joseph C. Mancini Service & Philanthropy Award, the Chapter Achievement Award. The chapter was runner up in Alumni Relations Award, University Relations Award, Member Education Award and the Noble Leslie DeVotie Excellence in Ritual Award. Louisiana Chi was also nominated for the John O. Moseley Zeal Award!
